Hello Everyone,

Nowadays, automating IT environments is one of the biggest challenges for IT Administrators and these tasks brings more efforts and time consuming when there are tasks that need to be one daily, weekly, monthly and scheduled ones aslo. I’m gonna wrtie about a service which can help us in automating some basic to enterprise tasks for making it easy for our environment.

Ansible! Yes, there are more automating processes like chef, puppet, PowerShell DSC, I’ve tested all of the services the one which helped me in automating my environment achieve what I wanted was Ansible, because I really felt comfort either in configuring and running the service itself.

To start, it just needs configurations to be done after that you just need to add YAMEL .yml file which is the easy ones to write and prepare which services need to be insatall, which updates when and how gonna push into the systems, how’s the status of services in your servers and etc… and you’re just managing all of the them just from one point “Ansible Tower” this is where you create and manage all jobs, templates and defining how it’s gonna work in your infrastructure.

Active Directory Ports

This note explores the ports used for Active Directory (AD) communications, which is a topic particularly relevant for allowing AD traffic across a firewall. For instance, you may be wondering which ports to open to allow AD replication across internal subnets, or to allow an AD member server on a screened subnet to authenticate to a domain controller on another subnet.
